Our Eco-friendly Philosophy

I believe that Mead, Nebraska, is ground zero of America's energy revolution. I am committed to the goal of achieving 25% of our country's liquid fuel needs from U.S. agriculture by the year 2025; by 2050, I believe half of our liquid fuel can come from a combination of ethanol and biodiesel.
These "terrorist-proof" fuels, coupled with improved efficiency in how we use energy throughout our economy, will free Americans from dependence on foreign oil and its adverse environmental impacts.
Environmental protection has always gone hand-in-hand with business success in my energy projects. From the start I have pursued a policy of "no net environmental loss," replacing more polluting technologies with less-polluting solutions.
Today E3 BioFuels is making a major contribution to fighting air pollution and global warming by capturing the methane produced by cow manure—a greenhouse gas 23 times as potent as carbon dioxide—and recycling it into a fuel source for distilling clean-burning, carbon-neutral ethanol.
